PROGRAM LOGO
The artwork depicted on the home page was created by 2008 NAIDOC Aboriginal Artist of the Year, Les Elvin. Les was kind enough to donate his time and skill in creating this work especially for the Dhun-Barn Boo-larng “Strong Together” Program.
The eagle represents our free spirit which travels on the four winds across our vast lands. The four meeting places depict that our people are meeting and are coming from the four corners of lands. The three black wavy lines crossing the meeting place are our ancestral spirits pulling all our people together. These wavy lines are lined with orange to give us strength.
